WHAT'S WITH THE ANIME

So you want to know about my sparkly anime gif collection huh.....

The short and sweet answer: I like them. All of these gifs and artworks of beautiful anime ladies are very nostalgic and comforting to me. It brings me back to my days of surfing Quizilla, a now dead website I basically lived on, where most people made quizzes (naturally), fanfiction, original stories, and etc.

The answer, continued: Most of these stories included these types of images to bring their stories to life. These random anime girls would be your best friends, your rivals, your love interests, but most of the time, they would even be you.

Completely throwing the source materials of these characters out of the window, kids like me on the internet would simply make up their own lore for these girls. And sometimes, that was even better, because the source materials for a lot of these girls are usually some kind of hentai or lame visual novel for men that sucks ass. And if that wasn't the case, it was still a really fun thing to do and participate in. It was kind of a magical feeling, in it's own way.

In the same 2000's internet fashion, you don't have to worry about who they are or where they're from. Just consider them your old friends, here to hang out with you on my webpage. Or they can be your enemies. You decide, I guess?

Also, i think it's just kind of hilarious. Some of these graphics are honestly really fucking funny. Here's some really good ones.

There is, still, the problem with sourcing the artists. Kids never think that it's important, especially back in the early 2000's, and most of the graphics are from Japan, making it even harder to do even if they wanted to. Since google image search didn't exist yet, it was next to impossible to dig up sources from foreign sites. Many of these graphics are so old and heavily edited, that any chance of finding the sources now are slim. So, sorry for not sourcing the artists... Lol...
