MY WATCHES
These are all of my current watches! My collection's a bit small (unfortunately don't have the luxury of buying watches willy nillly rn), but I want to buy a lot more in the future. I'm happy with what I have now, though I would really love to have more.
I'm always keeping my eyes peeled at Walmart and thrift stores, but I've had some rotten luck finding really cool digitals ever since the whole Apple Watch/Fit Bit/Smartwatch boom.
But anywho, here's my girls!
Casio Databank CA56-1

Company: Casio
Model: CA56-1
Year: Current (Rerun)
Price (USA): $30~
This was the watch that started it all for me. This was my first official digital watch purchase, and I was hooked. I bought it for the calculator function, which was surprisingly handy, and I found myself using it every day!
I think the only glaring downside it had was that it didn't have a backlight feature, so no time-telling in the dark for me!
I used it to it's breaking point, and it lasted a surprisingly long time considering how mych I scuffed it up. I loved that watch until it died.
Unfortunately after I moved into my first apartment, I must have lost it or something, because I haven't seen her since then. It might be floating around somewhere, but for now, I have... No idea. She served me well.
Casio Databank DBC-32
from the store page
Company: Casio
Model: DBC-32
Year: Current (Rerun)
Price (USA): ~$60-$70
This is a watch in my current rotation right now. I bought it after my first Casio Calculator died, and wanted to splurge a bit and get something a bit pricier since I liked my old one so much.
I gotta say, I think I liked the Calculator more, but I do still absolutely love my Databank. I don't use the actual databank feature too much (It's used to store phone numbers... I barely need to remember phone numbers nowadays, and I barely even call/text people unless it's for work. Or my parents.)
There is of course a calculator function on this Databank, and I use it often. But god, the buttons are STIFF. Instead of soft silicone buttons, this model has hard plastic buttons with no give. It took my fingers a while to get used to how hard you have to press down on these tiny buttons.
It does have a backlight, though! Which is awesome! But... No water resistance. Oh, well.

Resale Price (USA): ~$20
Can you tell I'm a Casio girl yet? This was my most recent purchase, and is the watch accompanying me as I write this.I bought it on a whim at Walmart because I just loved how it looked, and wanted a nice, simple watch to wear with outfits that the Databank just didn't really go with.
I adore this watch. It's a classic Casio design, very remniscent of the F-91W, but the silver and gold color scheme gives it a super classy retro chic look. The antique gold-colored watch face gives it that retro charm I'm after.
The metal watch band is sturdy and classy, meaning that it's going to last a really long time. My main concern with watches I've had so far is that the plastic resin bands break more than I'd like them to, so I don't think I'll have that problem with the A158WEA.
